Superb sharp, gemmy, transparent pinkish red crystals of the rare species phosphosiderite, to 0.5 cm, perched on a dark phosphate matrix with black microcrystals of barbosalite and pyrite. A large crystal of this species from this locale. The specimen comes from the old Museum of Geology of the South Dakota School of Mines with an old metastrengite label! Very very fine for this species from any locale!
