CKORQTZ-81 - Quartz - ¥ 37815 Oranje River, Namibia small cabinet, 8.4 x 6.4 x 3.9 cm ex. Charlie Key
Exhibiting parallel growth, this cluster of quartz crystals, to 7.5 cm in length, is on a feldspar, quartz matrix. The crystals are glassy and gemmy and all the crystals are invested with brown colored, hematite includions. I particularly like the way the terminal faces are more deeply colored than the prisms.
CKORQTZ-82 - Quartz - ¥ 25210 SOLD Oranje River, Namibia small cabinet, 8.0 x 5.8 x 4.3 cm ex. Charlie Key
Perched aesthetically on a quartz, feldspar matrix is a doubly-terminated sceptered quartz crystal, 7.0 cm in length. The stem is colorless and gemmy and the termination is lustrous and translucent, with a combination of lavender colored amethyst and brown, hematite inclusions.Dramatic!
CKORQTZ-83 - Quartz - ¥ 54622 Oranje River, Namibia small cabinet, 7.9 x 5.3 x 4.4 cm ex. Charlie Key
A single, colorless and translucent stem is completed by a very rare, double headed termination. The terminations are glassy, gemmy with color centers of amethyst and hematite inclusions, resulting in a rich chocolate/ lavender color combo. IN person, it is MORE 3-D than it appears. Complete all around except for a tiny ding on one back tip edge. Dramatic and vibrant!

CKORQTZ-85 - Quartz - ¥ 29412 Oranje River, Namibia small cabinet, 8.3 x 8.1 x 5.1 cm ex. Charlie Key
This divergent spray of glassy and gemmy, hematite included quartz crystals, is attractive partially because of the color and partially because of the crescent form. The largest crystal is 4.0 cm in length.
CKORQTZ-87 - Quartz - ¥ 63025 SOLD Oranje River, Namibia small cabinet, 9.9 x 8.4 x 6.7 cm ex. Charlie Key
Almost every crystal in this cluster is sceptered. Colorless stems lead to lustrous and translucent, brown, hematite included, terminations. The largest crystal measures 8.0 cm in length with a hint of amethyst color. Also, several crystal tips exhibit phantoms. VERY 3-dimensional piece with several display angles!
CKORQTZ-88 - Quartz with Hematite - ¥ 147059 Oranje River, Namibia cabinet, 13.7 x 7.9 x 7.4 cm ex. Charlie Key
This is perhaps the rarest color here...Exquisitely colored a rich citrine, burnt yellow color, this matrix specimen of prismatic, nearly equant, quartz crystals is very impactful. They are glassy, and translucent, with the largest crystal reaching 3.5 cm in length. A few crystal heads are minorly damaged but the overall effect of these deeply colored crystals makes these few flaws of little or no significance.
CKORQTZ-89 - Quartz - ¥ 21008 Oranje River, Namibia cabinet, 11.1 x 5.4 x 3.9 cm ex. Charlie Key
Clearly defined lines delineate the change in chemistry that separate colorless stems from glassy and gemmy hematite included terminations in these two quartz crystals exhibiting parallel growth. Each crystal has a well defined, superb phantom.

CKORQTZ-94 - Quartz with Hematite - ¥ 71429 SOLD Oranje River, Namibia large cabinet, 18.6 x 12.2 x 5.8 cm ex. Charlie Key
The beauty of this quartz plate lies in two areas. Several crystals are not only doubly-terminated , but appear to have grown as "bow ties" with a main crystal being wreathed by smaller crystals displaying parallel growth. Then there is the exquisite light rose color emparted by hematite inclusions, along with the glassy and translucent highlights of the crystals. The largest "bow tie" is 6.0 cm in length. Aesthetic as it can be!
CKORQTZ-95 - Quartz var. Amethyst - ¥ 210084 SOLD Oranje River, Namibia large cabinet, 20.4 x 13.1 x 12.0 cm ex. Charlie Key
WOW! This magnificent specimen of glassy and gemmy quartz crystals is mostly a light smoky in color, with intense color centers of deep lavender. Several crystals are sceptered with clearly defined phantoms. The largest crystal is 9.0 cm in length. Especially for the locality, such pieces in this size are rare and almost unheard of!
