Delicious grape color just visually leaps out of this large amethyst crystal. The color is DEEPLY saturated and the lustre is high, making this one of the outright prettiest pieces here. The photos cannot show the internal , almost-red flashes. Must see to appreciate! Truly wonderful specimen of no fancy habit (actually unusual for this locale!) , but complete all around and eye-appealing

An impressive crystal from Gobobos with bright internal amethyst phantoms amidst a sea of general amethyst coloration within a clear quartz rind. Its very complex, actually, in person. The color is deep, but bright. Interesting secondary growths of quartz of only 0.2mm high, dot some places on the surface, adding texture. The dark grape purple hue makes this crystal stand above most others for color, as well.

Very interesting scepter with light amethyst head and three penetrating crystals attached to the bottom of the sceptre portion above the stalk. Very complex scepters like this are unusual. Again, complete all around and pristine!

Anunusually elongated, very large, dark purple crystal from the Gobobos. If this crystal was gemmier, it would be a $10,000 specimen. it is still a wonderful example, quite translucent and colorful when backlit, if not transparent. The size is remarkable, for the condition (pristine, save for some ingrown matrix attachments on the backside). Major amethyst from here, without breaking the bank.

It is very difficult to find matrix groups from the Gobobos. Here we have a nice cluster of two zoned quartz/smoky quartz/amethyst crystals perched nicely, just sitting on a hematite-included quartz matrix. A lovely 360-degree specimen with much more 3-dimensionality than most can have. Amazingly, it is pristine! This is a major matrix piece for the finds here!.

A superb, doubly-terminated milky quartz crystal with a rich, raspberry amethyst center. Some surface chattering, and a contact (small gap where a missing crystal attached) and a ding on opposite ends, but overall still a magnificent specimen in terms of sheer eye appeal.

A favorite! This is a one of a kind specimen from the Gobobos area. On one side you have a doubly-terminated scepter with a purple stem and smoky top. The other crystal which is attached, is totally smoky. This is a masterpiece combination of two quartzes that look melded together!

An elongated , grape-juice-colored, amethyst crystal with a sharp top and a rough bottom termination, makes it a doubly-terminated floater. The crystal is complete, except only contacted slightly on one rear side of the top term. This is a very special large crystal from this area with intense color, and priced right, I felt.
