Riveting, GEMMY, transparent crystals to 1.7 cm are perched on matrix of quartz and yellow muscovite. It is a very colorful combo! The quartz is perfect, pristine, and the whole piece sparkles with lustre.
This fancy crystal measures 2.3 cm on longest edge and is perfect all around, hanging off a bit of matrix and so exposed more than usual for a cubic crystal on matrix. It is subtly phantomed with purple cores in green outer layers. The crystal, along with an associated quartz, is perched in muscovite matrix which forms a nice natural knoll. It is complete all around Minute chalcopyrite (?) inclusions add a nice accent when studied close up!
Two cute, deep purple fluorites like twin heads atop a natural pedestal, making for a very pristine and aesthetic thumbnail
Exquisite cluster of SHARP, razor-sharp, transparent phantom crystals to 1.2 cm like a flower on muscovite matrix. NOT common quality, just a riveting little fluorite even from a mine tha tproduced so many.
A very cute specimen with a 1.25-cm purple cube, modified on its corners, perched at the apex of the quartz termination
A killer thumbnail, with intricate zoning and color variances, phantoms, and gemminess you couldn't ask more of. Complete all around!
A razor-sharp, gemmy, transparent crystal with rich purple color and so symmetric it looks faked….perched gently on muscovite matrix. The crystal is 2 cm across
A killer thumbnail! It has riveting perfection and total transparency. The crystal is just over 1 cm and is rimmed on one side with sparkling pyrite. The fluorite is perced at the apex of the host quartz…a dramatic display specimen that exemplifies the difference between a small fluorite and a killer thumbnail, and small but not "small" in impact. Complete all around
A RAZOR SHARP and absolutely flawless gem fluorite crystal measures 1.7 cm across, and is perched on this sharp , gemmy quartz point. The quartz is, literally, very sharp (I speak from personal experience, having left some DNA on it by accidental handling). The combination is common of course but in this quality, for such a balance, is striking and uncommon. Gram for gram maybe the best combo piece here - it is REALLY limpid and bright.
This sharp octohedral crystal is of a habit rare from the mine. It is about 2 cm across and is pristine, freefloating into the air as if about to jump off the quartz (the quartz cluster is also complete all around!). The quality, the isolation of the unusual crystal, are striking features.
Sharp, gemmy, transparent crystals to 2 cm, perched on sparkling muscovite matrix
Gemmy, modified cuboctohedra with sharp purple phantoms in their cores, cling to a 3-dimensional quartz cluster. . This is a little jewel, and is MUCH better in person! Its style is very unique for the locality
This specimen hosts fluorite so clear it is like a jewel, sitting on the yellow muscovite matrix. Sharp crystalks to 1.5 cm. Superb miniature!
An amazing gem cube, just like a study in symmetry, with sharp phantoms inside. Super fluorite thumbnail!
A sharp crystal of nearly 1 inch, perches nicely on muscovite…a fine toenail specimen, with sharp phantoms inside
